I really fancy builders
For some reason this week I have met loads of men who’ve fixed things for me.
The electricity went off, I found a sparky from TaskRabbit to come fix it — he solved it (so clever) and I noticed, well, he was very handsome… I took his number so we can stay in touch off the app.
My gutters got blocked, and a strong man came with a tall ladder and sorted it out for me (so brave and helpful). Awww.
Got my car fixed by a mechanic and I realised I became a little excited when I walked into the garage and chatted to the helpful young chap about my leaking exhaust pipe. And his hands… such big hands.
When my friend fixed my kitchen tap that was leaking, I fell a bit in love with him. Oh and don’t get me started on gardeners, with their connection to nature too, so dreamy.
Perhaps my main Love Language is Acts of Service. Or it could be that I am horny for strong, practical men with physical skills. I really don’t fancy office workers, give me a man in overalls any day! In fact when I am in offices, it is the man fixing the water cooler who gets my attention. It could be that I am more drawn to them because they are more embodied? But it is more than that. Could it be that they make better Armageddon partners? It is because they are… MEN, real men. I mean, I don’t even know what that statement means. I am still in crush mode from my encounters this week to understand myself.
Am deleting Tinder and Hinge. It is all about the Task Rabbit app.
